City Centre Catholic Care

Founded in 1990, City Centre Catholic Care has flourished and now covers various actiivities. Funded by our monthly collections, it is non-profit making and enables us to work, in the name of the church, in our local community. If you would like to volunteer time, please do not hesitate to get in touch. It employs a co-ordinator, on a part-time basis, to oversee the following work:

The Home Care Service currently cares for over 100 elderly people, all with varying needs, with a dedicated team of 24 paid carers. Tasks such as cleaning, laundary, shopping and collecting pensions or perscriptions are all undertaken within a weekly visit, in order to help the elderly remain in their own homes, safely and comfortably. Clients are referred from Social Services.
